All I can say is cracking run about car sales @ very reasonable prices.
My wife needed a good runabout for work purposes. Seen BMW x1 on their website .car looked very good although I noted few bits of work needed brake pads all round , 4 tyres were getting low ,drop links ,( noisy knock on test drive ) battery stop/start had been sitting so needed replaced.
Mentioned this to Darroch @ sales who had no hesitation getting repairs done at their expense.
All parts replaced no problem although
Repairs did take almost 1 wk but was no rush for us tbh.
Wife delighted with car will be perfect for hopefully few years running about.
I was very impressed with cars for sale & prices . Unlike dealers further down road where everything is above £10k .
Deffo worth a look for good runabout car @ great price .

I did have a couple of small issues early on "” a battery fault and an exhaust fault within the first two months "” but the dealership were fantastic in getting everything sorted quickly and without any hassle. My son bought a car from them in February. Unfortunately the DPF fell off after 2 months. The previous owner had welded it back on badly. The AA spotted that when they came to check why the engine light was on. Redpath were great and paid £1k for the replacement part and we didn't have to pay anything. It wasn't covered by the warranty but was by trading standards. I'd normally avoid buying older second hand cars because of the risk of having a duff car. But if I was to buy one I'd definitely go to them as they were honest in acknowledging the issue and fixed the problem without any argument.

Well, what can I say that others haven\'t already said....it's all true! What a great dealership and 100% recommend Keith and co. I got my Subaru Forester delivered from Edinburgh to Southampton and yes it was worth it! I\'m so pleased Keith, right from the start of our conversation to receiving the car and actually Clark arrived before we got over from the Isle Of Wight....apologies to him for keeping him held up. The actual process of going in and going through paperwork and paying into our account was flawless and done in quick time.
I have used Redpath for years now and the guys they're are just brilliant, the way it should be. They make you feel welcome, are real nice, professional and if there are any issues or is dealt with promptly. And they keep you informed fully.
I have said it before and will say it again, if you want a car and service especially after you buy a car these guys are top of the tree IMO in Edinburgh if not Scotland.
I would recommend them fully.

We bought a used car from here last year, and the car developed a fault with the gearbox (automatic gearbox) and we weren't getting anywhere with a repair through our local dealership for said vehicle (make of car dealership) waited months for a part and still no where to be seen, one call to Keith who is an absolutely outstanding human being and 48 hrs later the car's fixed and running fabulously almost like driving a brand new car! We highly recommend coming to speak to these guy's if you're looking for a quality used car they will go above and beyond to help you get what you're looking for and make sure it's the right vehicle for you. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

We saw a car on the website we liked and spoke to Kieth as we were traveling from Hertfordshire to Edinburgh he assured the car would be ready and waiting for us he put a new MOT on it and supplied us with the invoice of the work done to get it through .The tester was driving it back home which was over 400 miles and we were not disappointed it drove like a dream extremely satisfied with the service from Kieth and the other guy (sorry forgot his name) would highly recommend this garage

Fantastic service and very friendly, managed to sell my car and pick up another one in a very streamlined process (ideal for me since this was my first time selling). They also managed to get me a better price for the old car that I was trading in than the big dealerships, or online. The customer service and after care I have received from this garage has been amazing! You never know what could go wrong with a used car, the best you can hope for is that the garage support you. I have had a few things go wrong with my car, however the garage has made sure everything was fixed at no cost to me. Not only that I was provided with a courtesy car, delivered to me. Even when I called in a panic because I accidentally turned on my start stop (I thought the car was dead) they never made me feel stupid for asking for help. I honestly feel so at ease that this garage has my back, every step of the way, and what else can you ask for! This garage have excellent customer care and great morals as a dealership. I have been blown away!

This is a write up about Redpath and McLean and his they have over a period of time went above and beyond helping my wife and myself with the second car we purchased from them.
5 stars ask the way, more of I could give them.
We purchased second car in February 23 and had an initial problem that was flagged up from second day. The guys, Dave, Keith and crew got the car and had the diagnosis and a part supplied to fix the problem. Unfortunately this did not completely fix the issue and the car had to go to few different places, it was one of these annoying problems that didn't fling up an engine management light but was an issue when it happened putting the car into limp mode and needed fixed. In between the car needed the air condition re gassed and the air con thing that made it work fixed to. Not a problem, it was done fast and no questions asked. Impressed.
The car parcel shelf was missing and we ordered one ourselves from that auction site"¦got the receipt and email that to Dave and they immediately paid that into account as soon as they received it.
The car still has to get the issue fixed that we initially had but was proving to be a bit of a pain"¦and they tried to fix this. Problem is with type of problem, no engine management light makes it much more difficult to fix it even find.
Long story short, after 8 months..(we had 6 months warranty even purchased) they still tried to fix this"¦bit to no avail, so far.
I have major medical issues and because of that and fur a refund because we need a car to use during treatment"¦.
Dave and Keith and everybody else associated with R&M were top notch, did everything they could to find and fix this problem"¦. But alas we had to get refund"¦. Even then Keith never moaned or made it difficult..in fact he made so much easier for us taking the worry out of getting the refund done and dusted"¦brilliant.
We already have another car from these guys and no issues.
Would I recommend them? Yes, absolutely"¦.
If you want honest people to buy from who actually deal with any problems then these guys are where I would go. And we will be back, after my medical issues are hopefully resolved, and we will buy another car when they have one that we like.

Bought my car from the Leith branch using Zuto as a pre-arranged finance broker. 6 months warranty and a fresh 12 month MOT on the car (including new tyres).

Overall a great service. Friendly staff and reasonable prices too. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot fault the service I received. I had a car with a problem, which Keith took from me and tried to sell at auction. I was provided with a \"runaround\" in the meantime. After a while it was obvious the car wouldn't sell. I was offered either to have the car back or a trade in sum against it. I opted for the latter. Keith was prepared to source a new engine to allow him to sell my old car. He helped me source a replacement vehicle and arranged collection for me. A cynic like me tends to take customer reviews of private dealers with a pinch of salt...past experience etc. However, I can confirm the service provided at Redpath & McLean is second to none. Keith allowed me to take the car for a test drive on my own; discussed the prices (the car I wanted to buy and part exchange of mine). Once all agreed, my new car was put through a fresh MOT and valeted.

My new car has developed a small niggle upon further investigation it appears the niggle is common with the car I purchased. This niggle has nothing to do with service offered by Redpath & McLean.

I am looking to upgrade my fathers car later this year; Keith will be the first person I will contact when the time comes. Thoroughly recommend Redpath & McLean to everyone.

The big boys false friendly approach and pushy attitude I decided to buy from the small medium independent dealer, and I wasn't disappointed. I was given the keys to cars and allowed to freely inspect without any of the looming salesman presence you normally get.Colin took the time to explain the cars history and even showed me all the paperwork and service books. I bought the car which was fully valeted and ready for collection on the arranged day. Despite the cars flawless service history after owning the car for just over a month a fault developed and after getting the car checked out it was confirmed that the dual mass flywheel was failing.
